We're in the Red Zone

Despite living in the middle of Tornado Alley, it's not that often that we find ourselves in a "red" or "moderate" risk for severe weather - at least not the past few years. But today, on the last day of Spring of all days, we find ourselves on the eastern edge of what looks to be a powerful storm ejecting out of the Rockies. The weatherman says it won't hit our area till late tonight. I'm not a fan of severe weather when I'm getting my beauty sleep ... If I could order my severe weather, it would arrive between the time I got home from work so I'm with my family and before I go to bed. We'll see what time this one arrives. Perhaps it'll get here before I turn out the lights.
